With winding mountain paths leading to Ospidale forest where in just a short walk you can find yourself gazing at the most mesmerizing waterfalls, before heading further uphill to find small mountain’s towns with local cheese shops and friendly local cafes.

Travel Safely

To give you an idea of what to expect, we have put together a few points to show you how to travel safely, from the moment you arrive at the airport to stepping foot into your accommodation, what to expect when out and about in Corsica and how to keep yourself and others safe while you’re away.

Getting to Corsica

Along with pretty much everything in the new normal, travelling will have some differences this year. Governments require passengers on all public transport to wear face masks and this includes flights. They must also be worn on arrival at the airports, when in airport terminals and when boarding the flight.

We would recommend getting to the airport earlier than you usually would as security checks and boarding may take longer than normal. Maintain social distancing rules in all areas of the airport – these will be the same as in other public places and make use of the hand sanitisers located around the airport and wash your hands regularly. All airlines, including EasyJet and British Airways, have introduced additional safety measures to minimise the risk of infection and protect you at every stage. Onboard services will be limited to water, which will be available on request and passengers are politely asked to refrain from consuming their own food or beverages as much as possible.

The same can be said if you are travelling by Ferry from mainland France.

Arriving to Villa Luna

You have arrived at your private villa, and now it is time to relax! Luxury Villa Luna vacations are staffed with a chef and housekeeper for the duration of your stay. They will maintain a level of interaction that you are comfortable with and in line with local regulations at the time of your stay.

Villa Luna will be deep cleaned and disinfecting between rentals, with our cleaners paying particular attention to surfaces, handles and other touchpoints both inside and outside the villa. All bedding and towels will be laundered at a minimum of 60°C.
