Accompanied by a procession of 150 extras, the new governor crosses the streets of the old town and Port to the Place du Dungeon. Demonstrations of flag throwers, drumming and other activities take place at the start and finish of the procession. The dancers, musicians, actors, archers, fencers, troubadours, flag throwers, and illuminations of the citadel are all unmissable.
