Our team of professional staff will plan your personal holiday experience to one or more of our destinations.  On the ground the staff managing our retreats have extensive knowledge of the local area and exceptional contacts to ensure you make the very most out of your stay with us.

We would be delighted to arrange a call to discuss your holiday in more detail.  From spa treatments to heli-skiing, catering needs, to nanny services, yacht racing or cruising to food and wine tasting, we have it covered!

Head Office Staff

Lisa Davis - General Manager

Prior to Lisa joining the Amazon Creak team full time in 2012, we had been working with Lisa as a highly qualified yoga instructor, personal trainer and sports massage therapist, for several years running Amazon Creek 'ski and yoga' and 'yoga and well-being camps'. Lisa has had a regular yoga practice for over 12 years, teaching in London and Buckinghamshire. She has also traveled worldwide to teach in America.

Lisa joined us in 2012 as head of sales and marketing and in 2013 became our General Manager, overseeing all operational aspects of Amazon Creek and sales and marketing.

Kayleigh Provins - Sales and Marketting Assistant / Pre-Arrival Concierge Services

Prior to moving to Chamonix in 2013 Kayleigh lived and worked in Sharm El Sheikh for 8 years. During her time there she worked in the reservations and operations departments for the largest dive centre in the area.

Kayleigh joined us in 2016 as our Sales and Marketing Assistant. Also providing all our clients with an extensive pre-arrival concierge service. Her keen eye for detail and understanding of your needs makes the planning of your Amazon Creek vacation as hassle free as possible.

Chamonix Staff

Matt Kitchiner - Resort Manager

Prior to Matt joining Amazon Creek he worked in sales, running his own offices across the UK, in 2002 he decided to make a change and moved to Sharm El Sheikh to pursue a career as a diving instructor. He was soon running dive centres in both the Hyatt Regency and Ritz Carlton hotels before stepping into the role of Operations Manager of the largest diving centre in the area. 

Swapping the beach and diving for the mountains and skiing Matt joined Amazon Creek in 2014 as our Resort Manager in Chamonix.  Overseeing all the in-resort logistics and operations for our luxury chalets Matt is on hand to help with any and all of your in-resort needs. 

Sete Staff

Andy Allen - Villa Manager & Chef

Andy has worked in hospitality for years, spending his summers managing bars and restaurants in Corsica and Sardinia, then moving to the alps in the winter running numerous chalets getting his skiing fix. He then took his skills to England where he ran a restaurant for some time. 

Joining Amazon Creek in 2017 as our villa manager in Sete, Andy is there to provide you with an in-resort concierge service for your vaction in Villa Frankie or Villa Freya. Helping you to organise any local activities of excursions or with any questions you have about the villa. He also speaks good French so is there to help with any local translation issues or problems that occur. 

Hayley Crisp - Watersports Manager

Hayley joined Amazon Creek in 2017 along with Andy and as part of our complimentary watersports package. She offers activities ranging from water-skiing and wake-boarding to ringo-ing and tours through the canals of Sete. 

Before joining us Hayley spent time working in quaint chalets in the Alps in winter, to being a sailing Instructor in Greece and a deckhand aboard a Motor Yacht in the summer.

Ronnie Maioli- Skipper

Ronnie was born in Italy in a region of good people, good food and big dreams, but no sea coast. After years of travelling and learning several languages (fluent in French, Spanish, and English), he moved to Corsica to become a sailing instructor, due to an innate passion for boats and sailing. Conveying yachts in the Mediterranean sea and crossing the Atlantic Ocean several times during his time off, the sailing school made him discover the fascinating world of yachting where he has dedicated his time ever since. He enjoys his career because it allows him to keep on developing many of his other passions. Ronnie has a calm, relaxed and patient aura, very discreet yet personable. Guaranteed service with a smile and cheerful attitude from our skipper Ronnie.

 

Thorben Rapp- Deckhand

24-year-old Thorben has his heart near the sea. Hamburg, Germany is his home town where his passion for sailing began. Having sailed small dinghy’s since a young child, he still loves to race any sailing boat on the edge! Playing the piano helps him to relax, he also enjoys running and tennis. With interests in all kind of watersports he will relish the opportunity to share his passion and teach you during your stay. He learnt to speak fluent English during the beginning of his yachting career. Thorben is a young passionate sailor, and looks forward to welcoming you onboard with his happy, friendly personality.
