Training

After your first night in the comfort of Chalet Amazon Creek, and a delicious high energy meal, you will be thrown straight into alpine training. After breakfast, day one consists of a four hour traverse of the Valleé Blanche. After taking the Aiguille du Midi cable car to 3842m it is time to don the crampons, rope together and enter a tunnel of ice! The traverse finishes at Point Helbronner (3460m) on the French-Italian border where you can enjoy a cappuccino before taking one of the most spectacular high altitude cable cars in the Alps back to the Aiguille du Midi and from there back to the chalet.

With a day under your belt the next expedition will be to then overnight refuge Albert Premier! You will start at the village of Argentiere (1252m) and from there begin the day long hike to Le Tour (1453m). After passing underneath the Glacier du Tour comes the final push to the Albert Premier hut (2702m)  and finally an unforgettable night spent in a mountain refuge.

After a good night's sleep comes an early start as you begin your ascent of the Aiguille du Tour directly up the Glacier du Tour. Today is the day to break out the ice axes, there is a short and relatively easy climb. The ascent will take you past stunning crevasses and breath-taking alpine scenery until you reach the summit at 3542m. Once you have summited the peak and taken a few photos it's all downhill back to the chalet for a well-deserved spa break and dinner. Depending on our guests level of experience, fitness and confidence a more gente day three option is available, equally suitable for acclimatisation and preparation for the Mont Blanc ascent.

After three days of intensive training with our trusted mountain guide partner Chamex it's time for a break! Spend day four recharging in the spa or with a day out in Chamonix town to rest tired muscles and mentally prepare for the coming two day ascent of Mont Blanc!

Climb Mont Blanc!

After all the training it is time to put it into action and take on Mont Blanc! Depending on weather, at the discretion of your guide, you will make your attempt at the summet via one of two routes.

The most popular route is the Voie Des Cristalliers, you will take the Tramway Du Mont Blanc up to the Nid d'Aigle (2362m) and from here begin the ascent. You start in the direction of Tete Rousse (3167m) before passing through the Goûter Corridor and resting at the Goûter cabin for a night shelter (3817m). Here you will have a hearty dinner before an early nights sleep in peraration for the second day of the ascent; the final push to the top!

On day two of the ascent you will leave the Goûter shelter before sunrise and begin your final few hours climb to the top! In this final ascent from the Goûter cabin you will gain 1000m in altitude until you are standing on the 'Roof of Europe' looking down on the world from nearly 5km! (4810m) From the top, along with an unrivaled sense of achievement, you can enjoy some of the most spectacular views on earth!
